ESCI 2005 focused on “European Crisis Management”, with the following main themes: • Analytical and political concepts of crisis management and conflict prevention • Functional analysis of threats and requirements for civil-military co-operation • Regional focuses of European security policy • Civil aspects of conflict management and post-conflict peace building • Perspectives of NATO\'s programme “partnership for peace” ESCI 2005 united some 30 panellists and an international audience of approximately 200.
